Jackie A. Vice-Black, Ph.D. has more than twenty-five years of experience working in and consulting with major global companies and nonprofit organizations in leadership development, human resource management, executive coaching, talent management, organization effectiveness, strategic planning, change management and culture change. Jackie has helped a variety of organizations improve the performance of their leaders, teams, systems, and individual employees. She brings a unique combination of senior leadership experience and a psychologist's sensitivity to her executive coaching and consulting clients. She is hailed by clients and colleagues alike for her powerful presentation and training abilities. A licensed clinical psychologist, she is often invited to speak at numerous public forums on leadership, organizational development and human resource issues.
Jackie was previously responsible for global organization and leadership development at ARCO Chemical Company. In that capacity she served as the strategic business partner to senior executives on organization effectiveness, succession and performance management, and organization change issues. She also led the training and development as well as the global benefits and policies departments. She created the first shared services organization providing human resources support for all U.S. sites. Jackie held several Human Resource leadership positions during her nine-year tenure at SmithKline Beecham (now GSK). She led the HR function for Research & Development as well as for corporate headquarters. She developed exceptional skills in working with and influencing scientific and technical leaders as well as corporate officers.
