From flowers to hiking imagery to birds found on the trail, I’ll be showing new work.
Scarlet tanager
The scarlet tanager is a medium-sized American songbird. Until recently, it was placed in the tanager family, but other members of its genus and it are now classified as belonging to the cardinal family. My friend Kathryn found this on a Sussex County, NJ trail. Acrylic on 8 x 8 inch canvas.
